Melinda's Third

Today was one of the best days of my life! I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Melinda and their third little baby boy. It was also nice to catch up on the three years that we have spent apart. She is an amazing friend and mother and I am so thrilled to have been a little part of this little bundle of joy.

Nature

We just relocated to the beautiful Northwest I have been inspired by the beauty all around me. So much so that I have been taking a lot of nature pictures. It has been breathtaking at moments, tearful other moments, and all around complete joy to snap a shot and look back on it with such awe. I love our new home and I hope that you too get a little piece of my joy threw my photos. Enjoy!

Much Progress

We had one of the most beautiful days on Friday Harbor since we have been here. We made another trip to Roche Harbor and I got many amazing shots. They brought me such emotion as many were special moments of our children. I started thinking of who they are how they will grow up together and how much love they already share between them. That is why I love what I do! Pictures or supposed to stir up all kinds of wonderful emotions. It is almost magical! I hope you enjoy these :)

Simply Amazing

When I started on this journey I had not idea how joyful and alive I would come to feel. As I grew up pictures where always being taken at any family connection. Every year on our birthdays we knew with out any doubt that our appointment would have been made at JCPenny's for our yearly photo celebration. It was so ingrained in us that we would often drag our feet when it came that time for yet another family picture. My brother and I would even make our silly faces just because the thought of another photo opp was so painful.

Now an Adult, married with three beautiful children of my own,  I have embraced that very prominent characteristic of capturing as many moments as I can. I now have a full understanding of why memories are so very important no matter how big or small they may seem. They can and will shape your life in the most beautiful and marvelous way. I can't imagine my life without photography in it!
